Project Launch

CAMPS officially begins its five-year journey to develop the first comparative global atlas of long-term planned refugee settlements.

Funded by the European Research Council (ERC), with a Starting Grant the project combines remote sensing, and situated design-based participatory research, to better understand the socio-spatial aspects of long-term refugee settlements and support more evidence-informed programming and research.

The project is led by PI Nerea Amoros Elorduy and hosted at the ETSAB at UPC-BarcelonaTech
